Cookie Policy
Last updated: 21 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how The Fashion Appraiser uses cookies and similar technologies.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can remember information in your browser. We use essential technologies needed to operate the website and remember your privacy choice. We do not currently use analytics, advertising or marketing cookies.
2. Who is responsible?
The Fashion Appraiser Ginnekenweg 8A 4818 JE Breda, Netherlands Email: info@thefashionappraiser.com Telephone: +31 6 40182005 KvK 69318522 · BTW NL001143686B54
Correspondence address only — this is not a visitor address. No client visits, appointments or in-person services take place at this location. Services are provided remotely or at a separately agreed external location.
3. Technologies currently used
tfa-cookie-consent local-storage item — The Fashion Appraiser — remembers your cookie preference, date and policy version — Essential — until cleared or replaced after 6 months
Stripe payment cookies, only where payment is actively started — Stripe — secure payment functionality and fraud prevention during payment — Essential for payment — according to Stripe’s applicable settings
The website does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, advertising cookies, marketing cookies, newsletter tracking or browser-based Google Fonts requests.
4. Consent and your choices
Essential technologies are necessary for website functionality and cannot be disabled through the cookie panel. If analytics, marketing or other optional technologies are added in the future, they will remain inactive until you give active, specific consent. They will never be preselected. You can review or change your choice at any time through the Cookie Settings link in the website footer. Choosing Reject all does not affect essential website functions.
5. Stripe payments
Stripe is used only when you choose to start a payment process. Stripe may place cookies or use similar technologies necessary for secure payment processing and fraud prevention. At the date of this policy, Stripe is not yet enabled for live payments. This section applies only once live Stripe payment processing has been activated and tested.
6. Google Reviews and external content
Google Reviews may be displayed on this website. We aim to retrieve and display review content through a server-side integration so that visitors’ browsers do not need to connect directly to Google merely to view the reviews. If a direct Google embed or third-party review widget is used, it will be treated as optional External Content / Google Reviews. It will not load until you actively enable it through Cookie Settings. Before that implementation goes live, this policy must be updated with the provider, cookies or similar technologies used, purpose, retention period and any international data transfer.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the website changes or new technologies are introduced. If optional analytics, marketing or external-content tools are added, we will update this policy and request consent before they are activated.
