Professional Opinion & Liability

All appraisals, valuations, identifications, attributions, condition assessments and professional opinions are made in good faith and to the best of the appraiser’s professional knowledge and experience, based on the information and market conditions available at the time of assessment.

They are professional opinions and should not automatically be interpreted as guarantees, warranties, promises of a future sale price, definitive statements by a brand or manufacturer, absolute authentication certificates or permanent valuations.

Market conditions, scholarship, additional information, provenance or third-party opinions may change at a later date. A later different opinion or market valuation does not in itself establish that the original professional assessment was incorrect or negligent.

Liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
